Our
centrally situated factory at New Germany, 15
km from the Port of Durban, offers 3000 square
metres of production area and is ideally situated
in close proximity to all major road links to
the various provinces and export networks.
We
cater for all types of fabrication, using various
grades of steel. From carbon steel through to
3CR12, 304, 316, titanium and other exotics.
Our
facilities include bending, cutting and rolling
with a 200 ton press, a 3 meter guillotine and
rolls able to handle 25 mm plate. We have a lifting
capacity of 10 tons via our overhead cranes which
have a 5 metre under hook capability.
The quality control department ensures stringent
standards are maintained and manufacturing records
are meticulously kept with data books supplied
where applicable. The ISO 9000 standards manual
is our guideline to the finished product.
LHL boasts a well trained, happy workforce which
ensures stability and continuity. The management
team has a combined plus 80 years experience in
the industry and an open door, participative style
is practised.
Numerous successful contracts have been completed
for major "Blue Chip" South African
companies, as well as exports to Australia, the
Far East, Central Africa and the Indian Ocean
Islands.
